Provide a PAP (to Those in Need)
The American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) provides positive airway pressure machines to people with sleep apnea who have no insurance, high deductibles, or otherwise cannot afford this critical and life saving medical equipment.
Left untreated, sleep apnea can have serious and life-shortening consequences including high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, automobile crashes, diabetes, depression, cognitive impairment and other ailments.
For each $100 raised, qualified patients will recieve an equipment package of a new factory-sealed PAP machine as prescribed, a mask, tubing, filters and a carrying case through the ASAA's CPAP Assistance Program (CAP). Give $10, $25 or more today to help others get the treatment they need.
If you need a PAP yourself, you can start an individual campaign and ask family and friends to donate, just click the "Become a Fundraiser" button to start. Please know that any funds in excess of $100 will be used to help others who can't afford their own.
